Maria is a Kids Ministry Specialist, Conference Leader, Speaker, and Writer. She currently serves as Minister to Children at FBC Monroe and has served on staff in Kids and Education Ministry in the local church and at the State Convention level for over 35 years. She has a Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and a Bachelors of Arts and Science from Georgia College (now State University) in, Milledgeville, GA.
Maria has a passion for Kids coming to know Christ and growing in their Discipleship (especially in the area of Bible literacy/Bible Skills). She has taught conferences in churches and associations across Georgia as well as for LifeWay and the Alabama State Board of Missions.
Maria has been married to her wonderful husband Roger since 1990 and has 2 sons Tyler (wife: Amber), and the cutest grandson, Rhett.
